Hello! :D
Welcome to the first in a series of posts about my favourite reads of 2019!
These will be posted on Sundays when I am not posting a video, unless I run out of books to recommend that I read this year! They will each recommend one book, give spoiler-free information about the book, include in what format I read the book and I will finish off the post with the number of books I have read so far this year at the moment of posting!

The first book I would like to recommend to you is *drumroll*: The Ocean at the End of the Lane, by Neil Gaiman!

This story starts off with a middle-aged man returning to the lane he grew up on. Most of the story in this book is a collection of memories he is remembering from his childhood and those memories are about strange and magical encounters all related to the 2 women and the girl who live in the house at the end of the lane. Lettie, the girl, becomes his friend and they spend a lot of time together.

The story is mesmerizing and captured me from the start as it drew me into its strange world. The fact that I was listening to the audio read by the author himself only added to the wonderful experience and journey of discovery you are led on! This is only the second book that I read by Neil Gaiman but I will be reading many more!

Format: audiobook (read by Neil Gaiman)
length: 5h48

Books read this year before the 3rd of March 2019: 35 (21 audiobooks: 4d13h10min, 14 physical books: 1,856 pages)

Hello! I was thinking about posting my favourite reads of 2019 here with a little of what I thought about them (spoiler free!) And we could discuss them in the comments?

Hello!
I haven't been around for a while as I am currently focusing on my degree and impending doom known as exams! 😅
I thought I would just share a video I had so much fun making a few months ago with my sister, a video that will definitely be getting a part 3 as soon as I am out of exam season!
