Survivors, how would you rate this new update that unexpectedly brightened the beginning of 2025?! 🪓
I think it is a wonderful update, adding rafts is something I never expected to see in SOTF. I'm glad Endnight is still updating the game and it won't surprise me if more will come in the near future ("and that's how we ended up waiting 7 months for another update 💀").
My only concern is about defensive walls blueprint: we had a cool mechanic that allowed both the player and Kelvin to spike walls and now it might be underused due to the new feature. I would rather have a basic wall blueprint with standing logs in order to give to Kelvin or players the task to spike them.
Other than that, I really consider this a W update and hope to see more in the future. If only Endnight could manage to use their X account to reveal or tease what's cooking...

MERRY CHRISTMAS, SURVIVORS! 🎄🪓
Another year is coming to an end, and not just any year: it has given us our beloved Sons Of The Forest 1.0! It has been one hell of a ride and it wouldn't have been the same without all your love and passion for the game!
I won't lie to you: the chances of Endnight Games revealing anything before the end of 2024 are low but WE KNOW THEY'RE COOKING, and while it won't be a Christmas present, let's hope they will announce something at the beginning of 2025!
Once again, THANK YOU ALL for the love and passion you have for this incredible game and for supporting this channel. We will see what the future holds together!

Hey Survivors,
In the next days, I'll be making a new video about the current situation of Sons Of The Forest and what I think is happening BTS.
I do think a Console Release announcement is coming soon. I will explain why I think so and also why it's taking so long. But if what I'm thinking turns out to be true, then I believe (little spoiler) we're going to witness the GREATEST VR EXPERIENCE EVER.
Just hope that Endnight will make it the best they can. And I'm sure thet will.
I'll explain my reasons in few days. What do you think Endnight is doing? And why is it taking so long?

This year too we will keep an eye on GAMESCOM 2024, a gaming event during which we hope to obtain the fateful announcement of a CONSOLE RELEASE!
Since our faith in Endnight is (seemingly) unshakable, together we believe in this dream! An announcement at GAMESCOM 2024!
If nothing happens on this occasion too, then we will prepare to wait every Thursday for a possible update or, in the worst case scenario, to wait for December, when, as per tradition, we will have some news on the future of Sons Of The Forest.

In 5 days, GAMESCOM Opening Night Live will take place and we have a small, little sparkle of hope to have some news regarding Sons Of The Forest Console Release or any new announcement! Keep an eye out for the event that is set for August 20th!
As I'm on vacation in Poland, I won't go live streaming but I'll follow the event with excitment and positivity. If anything happen, I'll make sure to do a reaction asap (yes, from Poland...) and make videos once I come back home on 21st!
If nothing happens, I will personally consider December the time Endnight will reveal something, either at Game Awards 2024 or anytime in that month (as they usually do).

Hey Survivors,
We could get a new update (either a small content patch or a hotfix) in the upcoming days. This is not sure, of course, but there are some few hints that really led us think Endnight is cooking.
🖥️ SteamDB updated several times lately and always at weird times (they're set in Vancouver, Canada, and they've been updating SteamDB SOTF page at around 00:00), which COULD mean they're preparing for something huge.
🎮 All this doesn't necessarily mean a new update is coming: they could be working on the console release, which also mean new content on both consoles and PC. Nevertheless, it's still a possibility only a new hotfix is on the way (after 1 month since the latest hotfix? And 4 months since the latest content patch? I don't think so). I still hope a console release announcement will be shared these upcoming weeks or, at most, at GAMESCOM 2024. Otherwise, we'll have to wait till December, which is the Endnight favourite month to announce and release new infos.
⚠️ Lastly, either we're getting something or nothing, I won't be able to make new vids about new features as I'm now going on holiday. I'll be able to make reactions and informative vids but hardly will be possible to rec gameplay footage. I'll keep you updated on what's going on and if something new happens.
