Who else struggles to keep up with the latest papers in AI Music/Speech? Do you care at all? If so, what challenges are you currently facing? Negative responses are welcome too!
I used to keep up manually, but after years of doing this, I became fed up with the process. So, a couple of years ago, I built an automatic solution that provides me with a detailed summary of one paper a day. I can bookmark the papers I find interesting and study them later.
Right now, the app is scrappy, but I thought others might be interested in using it. I'd like to gauge if thereβs enough interest to turn this solution into a product. If you're interested, it would be great to chat and get more feedback over a Zoom call.

πΆπ€ The Generative Music AI Workshop in Barcelona started yesterday! π This workshop is the culmination of the Generative Music AI Course, and follows the 22 videos I published over the last month. The workshop is an amazing collaboration with the Music Technology Group at University Pompeu Fabra.
20 enthusiastic technologists and 10 musicians will collaborate for a week.
The goal is to bridge the gap between musicians πΈ and engineers π». Each team will come up with a creative music piece that leverages AI.
I canβt tell you how much of a blast this has been so far! π
I feel overjoyed. This event is special to me. After many online projects, itβs the first time I'm organising an in-person event with The Sound of AI community.
Yesterday, participants accomplished a lot. They:

- Had a speed dating session π
- Formed teams π
- Came up with exciting project ideas π‘
Today, theyβre already hard at work on their projects. π οΈπ΅
