It's interesting how listening to particular music can bring back a certain memory or make you feel happy, calm, or excited. We were born with the ability to distinguish between music and sound. Our brains actually have different ways to process different parts of music, including pitch, melody, rhythm, and tempo. Faster music can increase heart rate, respiration, and blood pressure, while slower music can have the opposite effect.
