Hi guys, my name is Yalene and I’m a singer and songwriter from Toronto ✨I’m so excited to share my EP ‘En Route’ is out now on streaming platforms!!It contains four songs I wrote about my coming of age, as I’ve processed my feelings through writings these songs. Over the years, I would record little thoughts and melodies on my phone that came to me while in the shower, commuting to school, watching a movie, or most commonly while driving (after I’ve pulled over to the side ofc). It takes you on a journey of falling in love for the first time to feeling lost in heartbreak. The songs tell stories of relationships that are more than the fun of it all, disillusions of “perfectly-fit” people (very virgo of me) and the hopelessness in the loss of love.
