There are times when the work can get to you. I have felt overwhelmed the past 3-4 months with everything demanding my time and me seeing that I have been out of balance... I've had to put my head down and take out one thing at a time. I wouldn't have been able to do all this without such a great team at Alpha, my wonderfully understanding wife, and, above all, the understanding that all of this is not my plan, but a gift from the creator for His will.
Keep things in perspective everyone. Life will move forward and we can actually take comfort in that. Surround yourself with good people and make sure you are one to them...

So y'all have asked for it and I think I am finally going to deliver!
I am commissioning a large fertilizer plant in the Midwest United States this week. Monday is a holiday, so I will be the only person on site. With that in mind I am going to do a "Commissioning 101" stream where I go through my process managing large startups. It will probably be a little bit shorter than normal, but it will contain a lot of first hand experience!
I will probably get started at 10:00 Eastern US! I look forward to seeing you!

So, I have been wanting to do some content on mechanical design (Solidworks, 3D printing, Robotics). The problem with the YouTube algorithm is that if I make content that only some of my subscriber's watch then it will not put that content out there to new viewers. I am leaning towards starting a "mechanical design" version of this channel to try and get all of this content out to new people, but there is a lot of stuff that I would be doing that would be relevant to this channel too. However, if it was more of a "Build it" channel I could do a lot more than just professional work (think home automation, amazing cosplay work, really cool car mods). So here is a poll about what content you would want on this or future channels...

So, do you remember how I tried teaching everyone how to free up time to take a vacation? Well proof is in the picture right? I'll be flying back from this office tomorrow and plan on trying to get a live stream Monday. What do you guys want to talk about? Drives, HMIs, PLC, starters?
