in the future - u will be able to do some more stuff here,,,!! like pat catgirl- i mean um yeah... for now u can only see others's posts :c
So many items have arrived in the mail at the same time! I have some BJD blind boxes, limited figures, and vintage toys! I have found too many things I want to collect and I am running out of space! And money!
Regarding the vintage toys: I am re-collecting them. I had a lot of them when I was a kid, but I sold them later in life and have regretted it ever since. Now I have the pleasure of trying to find all of them again and now these 80s toys are even more scarce. Not to mention that 99% of them that I find are in bad shape because they are so old and kids are not kind to toys.
What could they be?
Barbies? Nope, I never really had any Barbies. Surprisingly, I am not a fan of them even though I am obsessed with dolls at the present time. When I was a kid, I was more into animal toys like Grand Champions and Littlest Pet Shops (the older ones, not the ones with giant heads). The exception was with Princess Gwenevere and the Jewel Riders figures when they were released in 1995. I played with them so much that these dolls were DESTROYED! I had all of them except Lady Kale and the Sunpower Queen. I stalked KB Toy store to collect them all with my lawn mowing money. I even have the horses.🤣 I love them so much I still have them. I had the cards and VHS movies too, but I sold them. Alas, these toys were elusive and vanished from the shelves as quickly as they appeared.
My Little Pony? Close. I collected all generations of MLP in my youth. I worked hard to earn money by mowing the yard, cleaning, and other tasks to buy them....only to end up selling them later in life. Do you sense a pattern here? I basically sold all my toys at the same time. I do regret selling them, but I dont have plans to recollect MLPs. The MLP count from G1 onwards is way too massive. I probably had 100 Ponies collected before I sold them on eBay as one big lot.
SO WHAT ARE THEY?!
You will have to wait and see! We are short-staffed at work, so I have been working more than usual and I'm tired and grumpy. 😩 I managed to edit one video a week ago, but never finished it. I have so much to do and so little free time. I also need to catch up on some anime and manga/manhua!

Well, my Dream Valley Octo's have been in transit for over 50 days. I am REALLY hoping they are a ship at sea, slooooooowly making their way to the US. Otherwise, I lost a lot of money! Making a claim with China Post is probably not going to be very fruitful. Someone told me that they once had a package take seventy days to arrive. Dream Valley did state that if I paid again they would remake the dolls if they were actually lost.
I use a shipping agent to ship from China to the US and Dream Valley will only claim responsibility from them to the shipping agent. It is what it is I guess.
Excuse me while I go cry in a corner and pray that these dolls show up on US soil soon.

Before my Dream Valley Constantine arrived, I received a shipment of blind boxes! That video will be uploaded soon. I upload these videos to TikTok in segments and post a full video on YouTube. I thought about adding these shorts to YouTube as well, but I am not sure what people would think about getting multiple notifications for the same content.
The shorts, or TikTok videos, break everything down into about 50-second clips. Each clip features one blind box. I know that some people would prefer watching the shorter videos, and some people when rather watch the full video. Maybe I will post those videos in between the times I don't have any dolls coming in.
On another note, my Dream Valley Constantine video has been posted. His legs were broken! I contacted Dream Valley and they said they will send replacements. At the same time, they told me my Amal and Satyr were ready to ship! I told them they could wait and send the replacement leg parts in one of the other doll boxes. Therefore, it will take about two weeks for the replacement parts to be made and then about another month after that to receive my dolls in the US, maybe even longer because of clogged holiday shipping routes.
My Resinsoul dolls have been shipped for a while, but according to the tracking information they cannot catch a flight until December 30th!

I was notified that my Dream Valley Constantine is ready to ship! It still has to be shipped to the forwarder in China (I bought the doll directly from Dream Valley), then to me in the US, so there is still about a month's wait time. I can't wait to see the resin color!

Join me in my experiences with a very expensive hobby that is the world of ball-jointed dolls! Watch my wallet grow thinner until I cry tears of blood. I mainly upload doll box opening videos, but I also upload my customization process which includes face-ups, body blushing, wig making, and costume making. I don't upload videos on a regular interval so you will need to click that subscribe button to be notified of new videos!

What is a ball-jointed doll?
A ball-jointed doll (BJD) is any doll that is articulated with ball and socket joints. These are hand cast in polyurethane synthetic resin, a hard, dense plastic, and the parts are strung together with a thick elastic. They are predominantly produced in Japan, South Korea, and China. BJDs are primarily intended for adult collectors and customizers and range from sizes 10cm to 160cm!
