Friends! I hope you’re doing well! Just want to let you know that things are moving along nicely - I know video releases have been VERY slow lately on the channel, but rest assured there will be more coming…
Things have been ridiculously busy the last few months with the creation of all the assets for the Cache Line Artifact cipher geocoins, as well as family! The first batch of orders is just about ready to be sent out, and the rest will be pushed out over the season.
It’s going to be a busy summer, but event attendance has to be very picky. Be sure you’re following Cache The Line on Facebook, X, Threads, and Instagram to get the latest news and details in geocaching, and watch for podcast releases on YouTube and podcast platforms.
Hope you’re finding caches! This has been a slow year here on that front too… I’ve almost attended as many events as geocaches I’ve found so far this year 🤣

Quick update, friends!
1) The next episode of TGIF Geocaching Radio should be released this weekend! And then I will focus my mediaproduction attention on another full length video - it has been too long! /:) My primary focus has been on the Cache Line Artifact and #ProjectEGA for the last few months, among major life updates. The last couple of weeks have been an unstoppable, go go go, mountain top, packed frantic life, with very little geocaching. But this little bonus was a nice cherry on top at this year’s GHAGAFAP XX event in Ontario.
After so many years of dropping oodles of raffle tickets in the biggest grand prize, we finally won the brand new Pelican kayak! And Deja is ecstatic 😄😄😄
The chaos is almost done, work is returning in a day or two, and I’ll be settled in to some new digs. Then The Line will roll on - there’s always more to do!

Friends and adventurers! Have you heard the news? I haven't yet officially announced it via this channel yet, but if you follow on social media you will have seen - the CACHE LINE CIPHER COIN project has launched! This is a series of VERY special geocoins, discs of four materials and contexts, both collectible and mysterious... (this has been my active project for the last month or two)

What is it that draws you into geocaching? That keeps you going? What entices you? What thrills you? ... Why?
We all know that feeling - the excitement and rush of the find, of the satisfaction of success. But it's not just a feeling... and we all know that once someone is aware of geocaching, they can never go back. Well, there's said to be another layer, another dimension, which connects it all together.
We travel from cache to cache, from waypoint to waypoint, place to place - a line, moving along as we live our lives - and each bump, each spike of success, every smiley nudges us on, pushes us forward; there's always just...one...more... That is the cache line, that is the effect of the cache line we feel, and there's a hidden power there that we can tap into - now, with the Cache Line Cipher disc.
These artifacts are forged in the deepest recesses of reality, and when powered and coupled with necessary accessories, they can harness various aspects of that Cache Line dimension when deciphering strange glyphs and codes that may be discovered straddling the boundary between there and here. We don't know what could be discovered or unlocked with proper use of the discs, but only time will tell...

The inspiration for the original channel name "Chasing the Ironman" came from my late mother and sister. In 2011 my mother was diagnosed with ALS - shortly after I began a one year daily challenge - and she passed away only days after I finished. This journey began with her, and it continues in dedication to her.
