At some point, in the lives of many, a family member has been dropped off or picked up at the airport. Prior to the drop-off, hugs and well wishes were likely exchanged. On the day of their return, you may have parked in the cellphone parking lot, awaiting a text message notifying of their landing and subsequent airport exit number. Or, you may have waited and greeted them at baggage claim.
My heart breaks for the family members who lost loved ones . . .
