For years, Ellie and I have dreamed about going somewhere magical for our 10 year anniversary. Well, it’s finally time.
No laptops, no vlogging, no contracts, no business calls, and no videos on YouTube while we are away. We will see you guys soon!

This will always be one of my most cherished photos with Ellie. Not only is it one of our first photos together, it was taken on the first day I was able to get out of bed, put real clothes on, and walk 20 steps with a walker after my reconstructive hip surgery.
I worked so hard to surprise Ellie that day. She came over that evening to hang out with me by my hospital bed at my Grandma’s house, just like she did nearly everyday for 6 weeks. But, little did she know, I had been working on putting on real clothes and gradually taking a couple more steps each day.
When she saw me, we both cried, slowly made our way to the backyard - step by step - and sat down to roast hot dogs and s’mores by the fire (once the room stopped spinning for me 😂).
Not only was it a big day for my recovery, but it was a big day for US as a couple. I think that’s when we truly became “Ellie + Jared”. Happy 10 year anniversary this month, Ellie.
