i was trying to keep a proper weekly upload routine for a little bit there but this week it just won't be possible to get a new video up, sorry!! 🙏
this morning i'm at a cafe i've never been to before working on the scripts for both my comics. i brought my ipad to draw too but there's so many people here i kind of got scared LOL. i almost couldn't even find a seat! that also nixed any chance of making a draw with me at a cafe style video today, but i definitely would love to make that kind of video in the future, maybe at a cafe i'm more familiar with. 😸
in my next planned video i'll be doing some prep for art fight! (it's only two months away now what!!!) ⚔️
my partner and i have been pretty busy all this month with moving, but the new video should hopefully be finished and uploaded next week! i've been working so hard to revive this channel i'm not about to let even another couple weeks go by without an upload to ruin it 😤😤

anyway, i wanted to extend a big thank you to all of you reading this for watching my videos this year. 🫶 i started this channel to take my growth as an artist more seriously, and as a way to share this journey of mine with those who might be on a similar path or are just interested in my art & comics in general (thank you 🥲🩷) i'm still learning and growing as an artist and video creator and i appreciate you being here along the way!
needless to say my december video plans sort of fell apart, apologies for this break in uploads.. i've already shared these thoughts on patreon, but i have to admit lately i've been feeling.. art-blocked? video-blocked?? not sure how to put it exactly, but my regular style of content here has become a little harder for me to produce and replicate on a regular basis. it could be that i'm just running out of things to say all the time, life just getting busier, or that creatively i'm craving a slight change in the videos i make to better reflect who i am as an artist and individual.
so while i have no plans to ever stop making my typical chatty draw with me videos, in the new year i want to explore new types of videos and expand what i make here on this channel! which is to say they may not always follow the same pattern of podcast-style yapping all the way thru. i sincerely appreciate those who enjoy those videos, but again they're becoming harder for me to make all the time. i run out of things to say so easily LOL 🥲
