I quit my job in April to do this YouTube gig full time, AND I had a daughter in October...
Plus, after YEARS of fiddling around with my bike setup, I finally found a good all round position that I can fit to whatever bike i'm riding... Like I said, big year π

So the front derailleur of my eRX groupset died a few days ago... RIP π
I had SUCH high hopes for this groupset, but ultimately I'm incredibly disappointed.

So we had a little chat about our frustrations, our recommendations, and what we could do about it!

So Elves dropped me an email regarding the use of fiberglass in their carbon steerers, seems to be for 2 main reasons:
1. Fibreglass is easier to ream out when sizing the inside of the steerer tube
2. Prevents galvanic corrosion between carbon fibre, and the expander plug

I was going to put them on another bike, but was thinking of slapping them on my L-TWOO RX hydraulic groupset. They are a bit lighter, and think they should be compatible...
I get the feeling gravel is the gateway drug to MTB...

I love cycling, and I love getting pro cycling kit for less. If itβs cheap, from China, and made of carbon fiber, Iβm interested!
Road cycling can be an expensive hobby, and the barrier to entry for good quality cycling gear can be exceptionally high. My whole ethos is to get pro-level cycling gear on the cheap, and show that you dont have to have to spend extortionate amounts to get some fantastic kit!
