I have Appendicitis 😬
April Fools, it wasn't appendicitis, it was just a really painful Kidney Stone that hurt in the exact same spot as my appendix, and I've never had a kidney stone so I didn't know the difference. I am still in pain and doped up on pain meds though.
I wanted to upload an April Fools day video, and I had a simple but easy idea that I could make this morning/afternoon before I had to go into work, but I wasn't able to do it because my body had different plans for me, and now I'm relaxing at my grandparents house instead of my place, so I can't do the video.
This post will have to do as an April Fools day prank in place of the video. In all seriousness though, it was a kidney stone and I am ok

Hello Everyone!
You may have noticed some changes if you follow any of my other social media accounts. I've created new accounts on new platforms as well, including Tiktok!
2024 is gonna be a great year, and I have a lot of plans with not only my YouTube channel, but also my Tiktok as well. More music, more fun, and I'm going to try my best to stick to a schedule for uploads, starting February!
I wanted to start in January, which I *technically* am, but I need to get back up and running efficiently and fluently before I can really do anything concrete, so I'm starting small this month and working my way up.
I got new headphones and other equipment, so I should be able to FINALLY upload stuff to a quality that I'm ok with putting out to the world! (the past couple of years have been "ok" at best, but I can't settle for just ok anymore)
Anyways, I'm excited to make this year awesome, with a solid mix of classic videos, stuff *I* want to do, and some random stuff as well, so stay tuned! Also, follow the socials! (Linked below)

Hey everyone! Update post!
You may have noticed an uptick of Trombone Champ Custom Charts, and a distinct lack of my old style videos... I have been heavily addicted recently to TBChamp, as you may have guessed. It's tons easier and less time consuming to transcribe 1 melodic line, than to transcribe an entire song, plus the game is really fun to perfect!
After my 10th Custom Chart, which I'm planning something AWESOME for that, I might change the way I upload them. Right now, I upload both the Autotoot version (which is mainly for Discord purposes, when I post the new Custom to the server) and I post my best attempt at it. I have a couple options I could do, but idk which one would be best. Down below is a poll for the different options, your input is greatly appreciated!
Also, I recieved an iPad for Christmas! I have SO many more and new possibilities with it, and I'm excited to get my channel back up and running in full swing. I have remixes I want to write, I want to get back to my old style of videos where I multitrack the different parts into one video. I have some other things I want to do too, at a later date.
However, I have NO clue which song I should do for my first multitrack back. Should I re-work and post any of the projects I've started in the past 3-ish years, or should I just dump those and start anew? Or, should I take a song request? If you could comment down below which route you think I should take, that would also be greatly appreciated!
I'm really excited for this new chapter in the channel's life. I've gotten a TON of new subs (Thank you all, I love you guys! <3) and some videos got AMAZING views, especially for being MIA all this time. Thank you all for your support and for making this possible!

Update: I found my laptop! I am Smooth Brained, and I left it at the house where Drawing A Blank rehearses, since we're recording for [redacted] and I completely forgot in the excitement.
That means working on making videos will be super easy, now that I don't have to borrow my roommate's laptop... I'm also considering buying an iPad for easier music creation and recording, since it'll be the cheapest option I believe!
Also, for ideas for the channel, what if I started playing music video games and whatnot for the channel? I want to do a playthrough of Wii Music, once the original 50 levels are complete I'd play through all the Wii Music Mods, and I could also do a playthrough of Trombone Champ and then modded TbC, but what do you guys think about that?

I can't believe I unlocked community posts on this day specifically! On Halloween, my birth date, and while I'm procrastinating on 2 videos! I've been wanting go make an announcement/update to all of you guys, but I KNOW not everybody here follows at least 1 of my socials (links below) so we're all here now, so here we go (This WILL be long, so heads up):
I guess let's start with my school life... I'm currently attending a Texas College, and I'm studying, you guessed it... thermal dynamics.
Just kidding, I'm studying music, of course. I'm not in marching band because I couldn't afford to do it this year, but that doesn't mean my schedule isn't hectic. I'm in MULTIPLE ensembles (Wind Ensemble, Jazz Band, Low Brass Studio/Ensemble, Jazz COMBO, Trombone Quartet, and of course there's my lessons/solos) among other coursework I have to do, like my cores...
Along with college and working my actual job, I have a LOT of performances each semester, most of which I record a couple songs/pieces, then get too lazy to upload them, but I still have them, so I might do a big dump of them all one day, but that day is not today, I have some 22nd birthday stuff to do tonight, and no classes tomorrow 😉
On to the more exciting things in my life, and one I hope y'all are all excited to see more of, is live gigs... I play with a band "Drawing A Blank", and you've seen some of my soloing uploaded to the channel... not only are we doing live shows every little bit, but we're also working on recording and releasing an album! We're releasing a single here soon-ish, and there'll be more updates on that at a later time, but just know some GOOD stuff is coming your way from us in DAB!
Now for the moment you've all been waiting for... my socials! First of all, YouTube. Once I graduated high-school, lost the free school owned iPad, and had to change software, I've just been super lazy with my videos and have hardly done anything. Little to no multitrack video uploads, multiple videos I've recorded but haven't edited them, etc. Especially now, my personal laptop has been stolen and that just makes things EVEN MORE DIFFICULT than it previously was, and it's super hard to get motivated to do YouTube again. If I got an iPad, and moved back to the easier, personally well known software, I think I could start doing more, faster...
Thay being said, YouTube isn't my only plan for the channel/brand... I've been wanting to move to TikTok as well, but I strongly dislike TT, and haven't done anything more than create an account, and then delete the app... but I've had some good ideas for it, I think, plus it'll allow for a LOT more collaborative projects and videos, and I have ideas to kind of blend TT and YT, using YT shorts and whatnot. More on that in the future as well, but let me know about your thoughts/opinions on that.
I also think I could be well motivated to do things if I have some support. Obviously my family is quite helpful, but I still need MORE, for extra measure. I don't like shilling or promoting these types of things because I don't like making people feel like they have to, but I have considered making a Patreon or something like that, to help motivate me to do things and to help motivate other people into being more active/involved with me and the brand.
I also want to make a Fiverr account, and do some musical stuff through there. I don't have a full outline of what I want to do money wise, and merch would be nice too, but I don't quite know yet. The Patreon could be for sheet music + unreleased/unfinished/previews of videos, people could suggest stuff to me or something, I don't know yet. The fiverr could be an easy way of getting me to play something for you/that you guys want. Like a lower cost tier could be something that you provide sheet music for, that I play, it could be for me editing something for you, and the higher tier could be like a request where I have to find/transcribe the music myself. Again, I don't know. Let me know in the comments I guess, if you're interested or not, any ideas you may have, or anything else.
