Ferreting the woodlands, as much as I love ferreting woodlands is the worse. but then again I like it, it’s a change from the flat open fields, different environment all together, laying and picking up nets becomes more tricky, digging is much harder, muddy wet slippy terrain, with thousands of distractions for the lurcher.
But if the farmer wants them gone then it’s apart of the job.

couldn’t be more happy with nip tonight, running the beam. retrieving, good recall, couple catches, couple got away. it’s all experience for the young fella.
