The Department of Revenue is a Governor and Cabinet agency in the executive branch of Florida state government with approximately 5,000 employees throughout Florida and across the United States. Our out-of-state offices are in Atlanta, Los Angeles, Chicago, Houston, New York, Dallas, and Pittsburgh.
What do we do?
• Our General Tax Administration Program collects state taxes fairly and efficiently, and makes complying with Florida’s tax laws as simple and convenient as possible.
• The Property Tax Oversight Program oversees Florida’s property tax system to ensure accuracy and fairness in property valuation throughout the state.
• Our Child Support Program works with families and partners to help children receive the child support they need and deserve.
Our goal is to create videos that will help the public and our customers understand important information about the Department and its programs.
