One of the 17 year cicadas landed on my SF notebook so now he's going to be a minor character on the philosophical SF novel I'm working on. He's got the perfect look for a redshirt I had in mind. I think a lot of you will enjoy the book, it's going to take a while I think but my prep phase is almost complete. Then when I'm ready I'll try and not out 1,500 words a day for 5 days a week until I die or it's complete 😅

I get lots of people asking if they can send me a book or fan art, which is absolutely awesome. But it's a little scary giving out my home address, so I haven't. But I got a PO box recently! So if you want to send me something, now you can! I'm so grateful to have the best podcast fans, and I absolutely love the fan art I've recieved thus far. If you're an artist, do a picture of me and I'll post it on my socials and promote your stuff! If you're an author or just think I should read a certain book, send it to me 😁 I've been taking a deep dive back into fantasy and SF lately, so I'd especially love those but you guys no me from the pod and maybe know what I'll like even more than I do. I have my own list of folks I want to get on and who I've already scheduled but I figured I should probably ask you guys too.
I'm playing with the idea of doing 1 deep dive philosophy or theology episode and then 1 more popular level episode with like a booktuber or fiction author or something and keep that pattern going--always revolving around philosophical and theological questions, of course.
