This is one of my favorit coffee drinks the Flatwhite. What is yours?
For this drink I have used my specialty coffee from Peru San Ignacio, Cajamarca. It is a coffee from a cooperative that makes high quality specialty coffee that is organic and fairtrade.
To get the best out of these beans we have roasted it light/medium so we can get a lot of fruity notes that this coffee offers, but still with a pleasent acidity which is not overwhelming. You can also get a lot of milk chocholate notes that so many of us love. So imagine a chocholate with fruit when drinking this coffee 😋. Combined with milk you get an amazing drink. The fat and sweetness from the milk is great to balance out the acidity from the coffee and it transforms into a rich, aromatic and sweet flatwhite.
I have used 19 grams of coffee to 45 grams of espresso with 30 seconds flowtime. Combine this with 120grams of smooth, silky milk and you get this delicious flatwhite that will make you forget all the problems in the world while enjoying it. Cheers ☕️😋
