My name is Scott. I recently left a long career in engineering / manufacturing and have always had an interest in geology. Since I was a young man my hands and sometimes pockets have been full of frogs or rocks. Luckily both of these treasures are often found in the same places.
I love to learn about geology and love getting feedback from the rock community so that I can continue to learn and appreciate this craft / hobby. I am a novice in pretty much all I do related to this channel but I want to share my journey and what I learn along the way so we can learn together.
Wisconsin Rocks is about following the journey of a novice rock hound and tumbling and general inquisitive guy. I explore lapidary equipment, polishing, and whatever I become interested in related to rocks. I am focused on local rocks from southeast Wisconsin in the Milwaukee area but may expand from their over time.
I expect to post videos weekly.
