My greatest restoration project so far. Coming soon! No really, it is!

Apologies for the delay on the content. When I started this project, I had no idea it was going to escalate to the level it has... But trust me, it's going to be worth the wait. This is the most detailed and intricate restoration I have ever attempted. It has pushed me to my limits on multiple occasions and has taken so much longer than I thought it was going to.

However, I may have paid the price during this project, but what I have learned from it and the people I have met whilst making it will save me hours and hours of toil and trouble in future projects.

One final update for you. Once I finish this project, I'm going to start four projects at the same time. Two small, one medium, and one large (one of them being an E30 touring episode). This will hopefully allow me to become more consistent, not having to wait around for parts, an outsourced service, or consumables to arrive for a single project, and not being able to move on until I have them. Usually I don't know what parts I need until the item is dismantled and laid out on the workbench, and even then, unexpected things come up all of the time that add huge delays. The same goes for if something goes wrong. All progress stops.

It might sound obvious to work on more than one project at once, but with the way I film these restorations in such detail, there are a lot of things to think about and do. So it's going to be a bit of a learning curve to manage four at once. Although, I will be able to streamline the workflow by grouping tasks together; for example, if three projects need shot blasting, I can do all three at once. Once a project is finished, I will replace it with the next one so I'm always working on four. It's going to be tough, but I think it's a necessary change that will eventually produce more content for you guys, which is my number one goal, believe it or not.

Thanks for sticking with me.

Hey everyone, thanks for all of your kind words on the Tri-ang T45 pedal car restoration! I'm glad so many of you enjoyed it.

I'm currently working on a very special episode. It's possibly the best restoration/video I've ever made, and I cannot wait to share it with you. It's coming up next!

Can you guess what it is? (orange thing below)

If you guess correctly, I'll give you 10 free tickets to be in with a chance of winning it when it's finished!

(Once the video is live, I will let you know that you are a winner).

That reminds me, the Raffall to win the BMW E30 325i Touring or £10k cash is back on!

For those of you who took part the first time round and haven't yet got your tickets back, please email me at restoreitchannel@gmail.com with your ticket number(s), and I will send you a code to get them back for free.

Good luck!

Hey everyone, I hope you're enjoying the pedal car restoration. It's a true Restore It classic. Link here if you missed it > https://youtu.be/VoOZkJTG4A0

I'm now injury-free, and I plan to keep it that way. After three trips to the hospital for eye injuries and almost losing a finger, I think I've had my fair share! During my time off, I planned a new schedule for the E30 touring which will mean shorter, more consistent episodes until it's completed. After that, I will be returning to the 325i sport, antiques, tools, etc. On as close to a weekly basis as possible.

We also have one final workshop build episode to come up with a few exciting pieces of equipment to install, so stay tuned for that as well.

Thanks for sticking with me through this rather rough patch!

Hey everyone, I'm back! After almost chopping my finger off, I thought it best to take some time off. Thankfully It's almost fully healed and I'm now back at it.

It's a bit late, but I hope you all had a wonderful Christmas and New Year!

Before I carry on with the BMW E30 Touring restoration to completion, I'm warming up with a beautiful antique (photo below). Can you guess what it is? Coming soon!

Hey everyone! Part 13 of the BMW E30 325i Touring Restoration is now live. Catch it here if you missed it: https://youtu.be/NX5ufjibKzM

Coming up, after the final welding episode, I'll be tackling the underside restoration. Which sprayable underseal would you recommend?

Hey everyone, sorry for the delay in the next E30 Touring episode. As always, the rust goes deeper than one would hope and the welding has again taken over my life.

I'm splitting the welding work into two episodes now as the first half of the job is done, and I'm currently trying to edit down 1135 individual clips from 56 minutes to something more reasonable.

This one is for the hardcore viewers of this channel, so let me know if you think I should keep it quite long, as those who are going to watch it might as well get more of what they like, or if I should try and make it shorter, as 40/50 minutes of welding is just too much.

Cheers!

Hey guys, I'm making good progress on the next BMW E30 touring restoration episode. We're looking at two separate welding episodes instead of one massive one, as there's so much to get through and I can't help but show everything!

This one is fully narrated and according to some of you, I even get a bit sassy at times. This one pushed me to my limits, I must say...

Enjoy my pain!

Hey everyone, I hope you're enjoying the latest episode of the BMW E30 touring restoration - https://youtu.be/PxhvZupolQg

I'm sorry for the delay in episodes, I had to attend to some personal things in September but I'm back in the workshop, working on the touring as fast as possible and I've got some big episodes on the way.

Your chance to win the finished car or 10k cash is now live at raffall.com/restore_it.

I'm offering the cash alternative for those who watch from overseas, and therefore winning a right-hand drive E30 wouldn't be much of a prize. I think £10,000 should be enough to buy an E30 anywhere in the world.

Good luck and thank you to everyone who's already got their early bird tickets!
