Acupuncture medicine encompasses the whole person and is best used as a preventative medicine. When we work with our internal clock and how nature intended we are more likely to have optimal health.
Modern humans indulge in processed food, are exposed to different types of stress than our ancestors, are surrounded with technology, which are all the contributing factors to ill health.
Maybe this circadian rhythm chart can be helpful in identifying some of the basic principles we can implement into our daily lives and get back on track.

SELF-STUDY IS THE MOST IMPORTANT STUDY YOU WILL EVER EMBARK ON...
Most people are unaware of why they are so reactive, angry, resentful...we blame it on other people because it's their actions that usually make us feel a certain way...
However, as hard as it is to hear this, the truth is the MIRROR of life just shows us our deepest fears - fear of rejection, fear of abandonment, fear of being cheated on, fear of never having enough etc. Then we focus even more on those fears because we have "PROOF" in front of us, we have been abandoned, rejected, cheated on etc.
Let me tell you a little secret, change your perspective and become the person who is loved, cared for, appreciated, and abundant. It's not an easy path, because you have to STUDY YOURSELF and shift into another version that's not the victim. The version for whom everything works out...it may take time but your EXPERIENCE of this life will change dramatically.

Sleeping wrong, waking up with a stiff neck, chronic poor posture? Cupping and gua sha (scraping), work amazingly well to break up stagnation and release muscle tension and pain. The first picture is the 1st treatment, the second picture is the 2nd treatment a week later and you can see how much less stagnation and inflammation this client has.
