I really like how World of Goo 2 Switch version pushes the gyro cursor control scheme reminiscent of the first game on the Wii. I know a lot of people probably grumble at the motion controls but it really is a great way to play.

Just wanted to let you all know that I'm still around but busy with work (12 hour shifts) so it'll likely be another month or so before I have much free time. In the meantime, I was able to get my hands on the Input Labs Alpakka controller and I'm excited to run it through the paces and test everything out.
Anything in particular that you'd like to know about this controller or certain games you think I should test it with? I'll probably try to nibble through some different types of games so I can really test it out before passing any judgement.

Don't be alarmed. I did some slight rebranding. Instead of RambleTan now I'm RambleCan. Can I ramble? Yes I can! I also brought my avatar back to my illustrated style instead of something that looks like corporate branding. Nothing is really changing on the channel, I'm just fickle about my username and avatar.

As should be apparent from my last few vids (assuming you didn't already unsub) I got a Quest 2. I'm not sure how it's gonna fit into my channel yet but I'm definitely going to do more VR stuff. If that's a dealbreaker to you I totally understand. Going forward I'm likely going to transition away from input tutorials as my sole focus. I'd like to do more things like "Guilty Pleasures" as well. If you didn't see that it was me sharing my love for Call of Juarez Bound in Blood. https://youtu.be/HZoi1lP5m_Y

So, if it hasn't been obvious from my recent vids and streams, moving forward I'm probably going to be focusing on other controllers and reWASD. I still love Steam Controller but have become increasingly frustrated with Steam Input lately and reWASD isn't quite there yet for Steam Controller use. If you are ONLY here for Steam Controller and Steam Input then you might want to start looking elsewhere to get your fix. My channel was never defined by the Steam Controller nor Steam Input. Hell, Xpadder vids still end up being my most watch videos year after year. My gaming interests have always been defined by playing games on PC with a controller and being able to remap controls, I don't particularly care which controller or input system I'm using as long as it's doing what I want.
I'm personally excited to see what I can do with reWASD and other controllers, particularly how I can figure out some workarounds to the limitations those controllers have compared to Steam Controller. If that doesn't interest you, no harm no foul. Keep on keepin' on.

I'm really hoping this reaches its funding goal. I backed it. I'm all over more innovation in the gaming controller sphere. I love the idea of a third axis in-between the two halves of the controller. www.kickstarter.com/projects/9axis/gemini-controll…

A tease of what I've been working on. Getting my Star Citizen config ready for an update. I'm using www.diagrams.net/ to make a visual diagram for it. It's a pretty cool program for something like this.

There was a bug in my xml file for Star Citizen 3.14. If you've downloaded that file you were unable to toggle ship lights. Please redownload the xml from Nexus or Discord or bind in "Left Shoulder Button + (Down) Dpad" to Lights / Headlights Toggle Binding in game.

I'll be playing BF4 with Ryker Grey again over on his channel for his live show tomorrow night. 6.23.21 6:30 PST (roughly). Hope to see you all there! youtube.com/c/TheRykerInitiative

Noob of the Proletariat / Artist / Gamer / Observant Fool... (he/him) Rambler formerly known as ExistentialEgg
I like to play PC games with a controller (I know, get over it) so I end up being a bit obsessed and focused on controller remapping via Steam Input, reWASD, or Xpadder.
I tend to seek out eccentric simulators or unusual indies & I try to keep my vids on the short side but it's a constant struggle since I talk like a droning professor / hypnotist who just woke up.
