A lot of you have asked us to come back. We appreciate that. And we know that we all love to watch the videos. Unfortunately, the way that we used to download the game videos no longer works. That is, we can't get the original tapes to cut. We have to say that we cannot upload videos for the foreseeable future.
We started this because we had our own niche players to watch and wanted to watch their full plays. We put the videos out on YouTube so that everyone like us could enjoy the videos of their favorite players no matter who the players are. We have proved that there is a need for this -- there are many fans like us.
It's just unfortunate that we have to stop for now.

Due to some system issue, we uploaded a few videos of today and yesterday's games to our channel Extra 1: www.youtube.com/channel/UC2C6...
This channel is back to normal now.
Our goal is to cover every single player. Every player is treated equally.
We process the game once we get the original footage. Sometimes the process is delayed because we don't get the footage soon enough, sometimes we cannot process the game due to technical issues, and sometimes we do miss plays! But we are trying our best to make the videos available, fast, and accurate.
Since Youtube limits a channel to only upload up to 99 videos every 24 hours, with the help of our 3 extra channels, we are going to upload the videos to the channels in the following order (note it's a change from our previous strategy):

If a channel has 97 videos over the past 24 hours, then we will upload to the next channel, and so on so forth.
(we use 97 to have some margin of safety)
On average, a game can have 24 videos uploaded. That means, if there are more than 4 games a day (or to be accurate, in the past 24 hours), we are going to upload to channel Extra 1, and to channel Extra 2 if there are more than 8 games a day. The maximum we've seen is 14 games a day in regular season (although impossible now with only 22 teams), that means all 4 channels can be used!
Also it means that one game can be split into multiple channels! For example, if one channel is full when a video is uploaded, the video will go to the next channel but when the next video of the same game is uploaded, the channel may not be full, so it's uploaded to the channel. If you can't find your player in this channel, try to search and it may appear in our other channels!
Bear in mind, though, that YouTube can restrict us any time to upload significantly less videos a day. We will let you know if that happens.

We worked around the technical issue and were able to upload last night's games. But we only covered 5 players per game due to YouTube's daily upload limit to leave some space for tonight's games. If there are some players you really want to see, please leave a message and we will try to accommodate as much as we can.

Hey my friends,
You may have already noticed that we're starting to add intro and transparent logo to our videos. We've found recently that two channels were MASSIVELY copying our videos. One channel added their own logo and the other claimed the work is their own. So we have to protect our brand. Hopefully the change won't affect your experience much. So far we don't have any complaints from our audience (except on the first day we had some glitches in our audio).
We receive comments every day showing how much you love the channel. Just want to let you know that although we can't respond to all of them, we read them all and we really appreciate it. Thank you!

One of the reasons that we created Smart Highlights is because we want people to be able to see their favorite international players, role players, and rookies that nobody else covers regularly.
We create full-play reels for every NBA player in every game.
We do not, can not, and will not monetize the videos. If there is any advertisement, all revenue goes to the NBA (the copyrights owner) and Youtube.
