3D printing is getting better and better. Even tastes like a real banana... 😉

Tinkering around with YouTube shorts. I've found that DaVinci Resolve can easily produce videos for this format. Perhaps something to accompany, or replace the traditional Maker Advent videos?

Did you think that I wouldn't give the OG Banana for Scale its own video? Fresh from the Banana Calibration Center, Switzerland is Banana for Scale!
Many thanks to everyone who has watched Maker Advent 2023, and the many years before. These videos are great fun to make, sometimes challenging, but I always learn something new. Enjoy the holiday season and be excellent to each other. See you in 2024 :)

Bit of a delay for #makeradvent today. Bad audio, no audio, wind noise and I need to record a voice over. It'll be out later tonight. Sneak peek!

Editing of Day 15 is finally done. Audio issues, build issues, out of shot sections. This has been a nightmare to edit!

Slight delay for the video today. I spent two hours building the project last night, but now I need to condense 90 minutes of video into something watchable. I'm 2/3 through the edit, and I have around 10 minutes of the final video done. The project involves One Beyond electronics tat, NeoPixels and the Wemos D1 Mini running WLED :D I use two soldering irons to build this project. The Fnirsi HS-01 and the Yahua 938BD.

Are you wondering just how fast that Decepticon USB flash drive was? Using CrystalDiskMark I benchmarked the drive and its slow. But for under £5 and it transforms into a plastic robot dog, what did I expect?
