Yes, I'm gonna complain here, because nobody else is going to.
Banned on Gorilla Tag, 8 weeks, and the ban happened while playing, there's no commitment involved here, I have mods disabled during this time. Only client difference is that I made my arms shorter with worldscale, which I don't find against any rule.
- The mods I have, are all disabled, and have been that way for weeks... exactly because of the code of conduct.
I'm probably one of the most reported players, not sure if that affects anything because reports don't do shit (I tested that last year).
Reason says continued cheating, hear me out, it's like 1 and a half year ago since the last ban... which was me testing a mod, but that's several months ago, and not even a cheat-based mod... continued my ass.
Reason stated, it also seems that I can't appeal, so I'm just gonna sit here...

Though, I want to mention something... I wont support cheating, but I have the ability to, and the only thing holding me back, is my will. I'm not dangerous though... It's not hard making a mod that manipulates the client's movement based on what they want to do, rather than clicking buttons to do what they want... Fucking menus.
All in all, judge me or not, I don't care, I'll wait these 8 weeks, because I'm not a bitch about that. Not gonna ban evade, not my thing...
Last thing... 3 Years of gorilla tag, I'm completely against modding, I'm not evading reports, I'm not using any external advantage for the game, and yet multiple bans have come from that. Gorilla Tag is dying... (No veterans are playing this game anymore)
On gameplay videos, I wont be doing intros. like explaining what's about to happen.

No stream for some time (days) as the network I use for gaming is limited and I'm crazy enough to reach that limit weeks before next month. Until this issue is resolved, expect no streams.

I just watched a video that's basically the exact same video as my tierlist video, and for some stupid reason, this... other video gets so much attention, very much unlike my own video that was done weeks before the other. Thanks YouTube, fuck your algorithms, and fuck your ads system.
I'm honestly pissed at how certain platforms work. I'm thinking of literally making a new channel but what for? To make the same content, and end up in the same scheme? bro, what? I'm not even here at this point. Not that I asked for it, it's just not fair in my book.
I'm not monetized, I never asked for that either, but at least give me the chance so I have something on the shelves to show off. My work doesn't seem to go anywhere.

Okay so first of all I've literally tried to record myself explaining this, and it's around 4 and a half hours of me literally just complaining about the issues gorilla tag currently has, or issues I encounter on a daily gorilla tag basis.
All the clips were discarded firstly because I'm lazy and I hate to edit long videos... only to not have it get attention whatsoever, pathetic ngl.
Gorilla tag was nice, back then... now it "sucks" in my words.
Lemming/AA, have ruined some quality culture/features of the game such as adding wind to canyons walls
Could've literally extended the height of the walls??!??!?!?!?!???
Forest's walls were ruined by having red walls added... Walls could've ALSO been extended here?!?!?
Canyons got new mechanics, cool, but there's TOO MANY SWINGING ROPES... and the ZIPLINES provide FREE ADVANTAGE!!!
I had a forest player that have been playing for a few months. I tried to catch them in the reworked canyons... This went on for MINUTES (Not seconds) and my profession is NOT faulty for this, certainly. We even tried to compare rounds where they were allowed to use ziplines and the swings... It took SECONDS without them, and minutes WITH them (Insert exclamationmark here)
I'm having a feeling that lemming/AA are NOT LISTENING TO THE COMMUNITY...
We're suggesting, we're "bugfinding" and SOO MUCH MORE... OH BUT WHAT, NOTHING IS HAPPENING.
Lemming used to be open, now he's ignoring us all, or at least in my perspective.
I can't make a single video without lagging. I used to record super smoothly and now... it's nearly impossible.
I've tried different settings, resetting to default here and there (which was a damn stupid idea), and even reinstalling virtual desktop, steamvr, gorilla tag and trying with / without mods on. NONE OF IT WORKED
Neither of these issues have been caused by the computer, and I am certain of that by many reasons I wont conclude in this "complaint".
Countless of experiences involving sound glitch. At this point I actually enjoy playing the game more, with myself muted and no sounds, to ignore it.
I'm continuously accused of cheating, modding, using illegal mods, all that unwanted stuff... fairly annoying. Especially when it's a 13 year old calling me out for using mods, even though the mods I use are fully legal and I can confirm that as being the creator of 90% of them. Most of them are even marked with "moddedonly" or "testmod" to prevent these guys from calling me out. Oh and, most of these people that say stuff like "you're using mods", are using far more illegal mods, than I had ever touched. Doesn't that sound crazy!?!?
I heavily recommend lemming/aa, to take a look at what some of the most known mods have to offer, such as MonkeMapLoader or gorillacosmetics (talking about materials here) for reference.
Competitive course is a DAMN JOKE... There's literally no difference and there's even times where I find 6-year old-sounding children. Most of these damned players are not even playing competitively, it's all "Can you teach me how to lucio". And I bet NOBODY knew about two-handed wall climbing before "luciO" was a thing, lucio is a content creator by the way and I'm not bragging about how people call it lucio, it's just ... idk how to explain it. I've practically been wallrunning since before forest. Somewhere around that at least.
Oh but what to do with the comp course????? MAKE IT AT LEAST 45 TIMES HARDER!!! OR MAKE A SECOND COMPETITIVE QUEUE, LIKE CHAMPION (call it chimpion if this is planned, lmao) QUEUE... IT IS LITERALLY EASIER THAN IT SOUNDS... JUST ASK THE DAMN COMMUNITY FFS
Reporting players is rigged really. No reason to do it... I haven't a reason to explain this one, everyone knows what I'm talking about here. Honestly, the report system should be blocked and unlocked behind some task, like having the comp queue or a certain amount of hours, stuff like that. It's clearly being abused and not everyone knows that this and that gets you banned because the code of conduct never changed since it was made (lol?)
Yeah I know not everything can be as one wants it to be, but I'm simply just saying this so others don't have to. I bet even 99% of the people that have the same issues as I do, are scared or lazy to complain!?!!

Q: Will you quit managing for StyledSnail or other gorilla tag-relating communities?
A: No. (No need to make a paragraph of this)
Q: Are you ACTUALLY quiting gorilla tag?
A: I plan to... if these occurences continue.
My goal here is not to be rude or harsh. Simply just a complaint and I don't hope it strikes too hard on anyone here...
I might've had more to say but I think this is enough for me to let out. I'm at least taking a break from this nonsense.
