Documenting the life of racing pigeons by the mountains, in Romania.
Pigeon strain goals:
- resistance to birds of prey
- disease resistance
- racing longevity
Living by the mountains, I started to document the natural selection and how it shapes the evolution of a pigeon colony in relationship with the birds of prey, the falcon and the hawk. The videos also document the development of my racing pigeons strain and might be useful for beginners. I'm not into pedigrees, auctions and complex racing schemes for maximum performance. I prefer a more relaxed natural method of racing.
