The Gloucester Writers Center is a place for working writers in a working town. We are devoted to the exploration, development and celebration of our diverse voices through dialogue and the artistic process. The GWC’s philosophy is based on the spirit of poetic inquiry practiced by Vincent Ferrini and friend and fellow poet Charles Olson. Since its founding in 2010, the Gloucester Writers Center has hosted hundreds of events including readings, classes, lectures, films, writers-in-residence and community events.
