I was watching Dricus Du Plessis highlights and realized he reminds me of the boxer Ricardo Mayorga. For those who don't know Mayorga has an awkward style like Dricus where he'll throw punches from wierd angles that looked sloppy but will land.
Boxer Vernon Forest like Robert Whittaker was a technical fighter who fell victim to this style in a shocking loss to Mayorga. For Dricus sake I hope his career doesn't pane out like Mayorga because fighters eventually figured him out and it was all downhill from there.
By the way I'm making a Dricus Du Plessis remix so look out for that remix soon.

Now that Belal Muhammad is champion the fans have to deal with another welterweight champion they don't like.
Belal Muhammad, Leon Edwards, Kamaru Usman & Tyron Woodley were all dismissed and mocked during their run. Robbie Lawler was the last welterweight champion fans liked.
I'm assuming most fans want Shavkat to win the belt against Belal but the MMA Gods have other plans. They will punish the fan base for their hate by anointing Ian Garry as the next welterweight champion keeping the streak of hated welterweight champions alive.

I'm reading the comments on the Leon Edwards press conference and fans are liking Leon more than ever. He used to be mocked a lot.
Based on recent history in the welterweight division whenever a once hated fighter becomes liked they lose their next fight. I usually see this shift in the press conference before the fight.
When hated on Tyron Woodley fought Usman they started liking Tyron. When hated on Usman fought Leon they started liking Usman. Now once hated on Leon Edwards is becoming more liked by fans in his fight against Belal.
We'll see if this trend continues this weekend because Belal is currently the hated on fighter. So I'm guessing if Belal wins the title he'll lose it to Ian Garry down the line.

I just started a remix of Kamaru saying "Don't let him bully you son" from his podcast. Also made a Leon Edwards - "Heads Shot done" remix. Looking to finish them possibly this week.
I thought I had more time months ago but our electrical contracting business got a big contract so I've been busy with paperwork. Should have some free time this weekend.
