Zachary Heim, renowned as ZKRY, is a Seattle native producer weaving together sonic elements of funk, house, pop, and hip-hop into a contemporary tapestry that bears his distinct touch and flair.
Zachary's foray into music began in his early years watching his father in an 80s hair metal band. This early exposure became the spark that ignited his musical journey. By the age of 19, he had already embraced a professional role as a pianist, a path that led him to undertake his first piano lesson at MSU Billings.
But the allure of the city lights drew him to Seattle, where his thirst for knowledge led him to the doors of the Art Institute of Seattle. There he honed his skills in audio engineering. This period marked the inception of a prolific era, during which he crafted EPs, albums, and memorable studio sessions for diverse musicians. It was within these creative confines that the moniker ZKRY was born, a symbol of his individuality and the catalyst for his solo endeavor.
