Hi! I'm Edward.
This channel captures my hobby of home machinist focusing on Stationary Steam Engines.
I am interested in capturing (just like YouTuber "Steam Powered Machine Shop") 1900-1920 the stationary steam engine era.
Inside that 20 year window it just happens that it's the Edwardian era named for when England's King Edward was on the throne 1901-1914. Thus the channel name - the era and my name being the same as the king (for which I'm multi-generationally named for).
I'm starting with a few stationary steam engine model kits (Stuart #9) but hope to make my own steam engines from scratch, have the cast for me by Windy Hill Foundry (check out Clarke's YouTube channel). Check out Fair Weather Foundry for another from-scratch steam engine!
I am a total novice so I know I do a lot of things wrong. If you're after machining tutorials go check out Blondihacks, Joe Pieczynski, RobenZ or Stephan Gotteswinter.
So if you're interested subscribe to see my videos as they come out.
