John 3:16
For God loved the world so much that He gave His one & only son, so that everyone who believes in Him will not perish but have eternal life.
The concept of love originally comes from God. He is love. God demonstrated His love through gifting us with Jesus Christ. True love is found/discovered in Jesus Christ. This means you canāt know what love is without Jesus Christ. Therefor you canāt know how to love or how to be loved without Jesus Christ because God loved us first when He sent Jesus.
Jesus blood that was shed for our sins is the new covenant made between us & God. Being in relationship with Jesus Christ first helps you to know the love of God and then how to walk in love on earth.
You will never be able to form healthy relationships with others without knowing the love of God which was shown through Jesus Christ.
1 John 4:9-10
God showed how much He loved us by sending his one and only son into the world so that we might have eternal life through him. This is real love-not that we loved God but that He loved us & sent his Son as a sacrifice to take away our sins
