We made it to the finals in kaaoszine's competition for this year's kaaosfestival. We extend our sincerest gratitude for this opportunity. It would be an overdue comeback to Finnish soil!

We would like to introduce our new lead vocalist, Tiamat Invictuz. Some of you may recognize him from his vocal and guitar duties in Wormlight and Sons ov Omega. He performed with us at our latest gig and was shortly thereafter asked to join Hyperion full time. Tiamat has an extremely powerful and dynamic voice and we are very pleased to have him on board!

Some pictures from the show this last weekend at Pow Wow Rock Fest - The Devils Acolytes. Unfortunately, we had to cut out setlist in half due to some delays and technical difficulties, but it nevertheless felt good to be back on stage after so long. A big thanks to Pow-Wow and everyone who attended the show and supported us!

The original plan was to wait until the second album was released before starting to perform live again, but when the opportunity arose, we simply couldn't resist the urge.
On the 7th of December, for the first time since 2019 Hyperion will hit the stage with titanic fury. We will be playing at PoW WoW Rock Fest in Stockholm together with Descend, Sodomisery, Arcillah and Vometh. Songs from the upcoming album will be performed and some new faces on stage will be introduced:

We have now received the master files for the second Hyperion album. In other words, the music for our second album is finally completed. Sverker of Wing Studios has done an incredible job and we are all extremely pleased with how the album sounds.
So what now? Artwork is currently being drawn by the immensely talented Khaos Diktator Design. We will also start searching for a label, so that the album can receive its proper promotion.

Mixing of the second Hyperion album has finally begun. We re-amped all the bass guitars this weekend and we have begun putting all of the tracks together at Wing Studios. Even though there is a lot of mixing and mastering to be done, it's already sounding quite grand and epic.

We would like to welcome Felix Wahlund as the new drummer of Hyperion.
Felix is a very ambitious and committed drummer. We are hoping for many years of blasting and playing music together!

Hyperion is a Swedish Extreme Metal band formed in Stockholm in 2007.
The music can best be understood by listening to it, but in short it is a mixture of 90:s death/black metal with a lot of melodic and epic influences. We focus a mainly on creating a melodic, epic, yet energetic and dark atmosphere.
The band has just released the debut album "Seraphical Euphony" via Black Lion Productions.
