I have created a playlist for the individual adverts I have posted (currently 26 in total)
www.youtube.com/playlist?list...
These are adverts that I thought of interest for some random reason (i.e. the Payless DIY has a cool tune or if it looks like a rare advert, like for Colchester zoo)

An esoteric question, but does anyone know where to get the 1961 version of "Jour de Fete" on DVD? The first version I have is full-color. The version on the right is full black & white. The 1961 has selective colourisation (by hand). This was the version shown by Channel 4 in the 1980's.

Treffynnon19 has gone from youtube. Unfortunately archive.org does not archive videos. A program I found interesting from treffynnon's videos: "Choices for Tomorrow: Water, Water... (1975)"

TV aerials. @stickytapenrust6869 posted a video with the final 405 line closedown. This made me remember the street where my Nan's house still had these aerials on her roof (the X and another couple the other side of the chimney) into the 2020's and her neighbour still has a horizontal "H" receiver (the last image) (All images from Google Street View)

For random interest, clippings from Thames/LWT TV-Times from 1981 for Stingray and Thunderbirds. Stingray is 15th November 1981 and the other clipping is from 19th December 1981. I believe at some point Stingray and Space 1999 were shown early afternoon at lunch.
