Maddy Hicks is a 23-year-old pop singer songwriter who has been performing her own music for over a decade. Originally from Charlton, New York, she moved to Nashville, Tennessee in 2018 to pursue a career as an artist and songwriter while studying at Belmont University. Maddy has released two albums independently, the most recent being Reclaiming, a collection of songs released throughout 2021. Blending genres, she writes about the twentysomething experience with a unique sense of rhythm and rhyme beneath powerful melodies.
Earlier this year, two of Maddy’s unreleased songs blew up on TikTok, bringing her a much larger fanbase and leading her to sign with Overall Recordings. Her single “Kinda Over It” came out in May and has over a million streams to date. Since then, she has released several singles, most recently “Deadline” and “All Mine.” Her EP Situationships is set to release on 3/31.
