So apparently the video I showed in my live today was NOT In fact from the ADA county jail . They released a statement today that it was not in fact a video from their facility.
On the other hand the IDOC seems unwilling to say whether or not it’s from their facility where he’s currently being housed. They’re basically claiming they’re investigating and there will be punishment for anyone from their facility who may have leaked it. At the same time they warn people about AI.
I did find some things strange as i pointed out in my live today including the bed and the fact there was a remote on it. The bed looked more like a hospital bed than a prison bed which are usually metal and bolted to the floor and not on wheels. Also there was an outlet with a plug in the wall which was weird but idk… I’ve never been in prison! lol
I can totally see a CO taking a vid of him and sharing it with a friend and then it just spreads like wildfire.
It’s just strange. The ADA county jail was able to quickly say the video wasn’t theirs but this is a very strange statement to me. Shouldn’t they know right away whether or not the video is AI? They should know what his cell looks like and how it’s set up. AI hardly ever gets things 100% right. Someone would have to know exactly what his cell looks like in order to fool even the prison.
It’s scary that we even have to question what’s real and what’s fake. AI scares me for a variety of reasons, this just being one.
