Thisbe Vos is a Dutch jazz singer/songwriter who specializes in writing romantic jazz in the style of the 30s, 40s and 50s. In her late teens, she started writing songs while touring with the UK swing band The Jive Aces. In 2008, she moved to Los Angeles to record these songs with American jazz musicians. She found a mentor in bassist Henry Franklin, a Gold-recording artist who worked with Stevie Wonder, Count Basie and Freddie Hubbard.
Thisbe has made five albums, of which the last four were crowdfunded through the support of fans who found her music on social media. Her music has been played on over 230 jazz radio stations in the US and Canada and has been used in films and TV shows on CBS, ABC, NBC, Fox, The Hallmark Channel, Discovery+, Disney+ and others.
