Hey everyone, just a quick update. Itās been very silent on my channel lately. There are a couple of reasons for that:
1) Iām currently focused on the future of flight simming. That means Iām testing, preparing my development workflows and improving my skills for the upcoming sim platform. That's very time consuming and is the main reason for the lack of content. I canāt tell you more at this time.
2) My day job, which leaves very little time to work on videos. I need at least 2-3 full days for a video and I often got just one or two days off. There are 2 videos in the pipeline but Iām not happy with the result which leads me to...
3) ...my growing frustration with replaying highly detailed aircraft addons. With every release of a new aircraft, the number of possible views is shrinking drastically because of the use of custom variables that either donāt get replayed or donāt work with the video production workflow. To get 60fps for the videos I have to slow down the replay to Ā½ or Ā¼ and speed up the recorded footage accordingly in post production. That leads to problems.
An example is wing flex on the QW787 or PMDG 737 NGXu. Itās working fine in real-time but the movement isnāt coupled with the simulation rate. That means showing the outside of the aircraft (wing views + external views) becomes almost impossible as the wings vibrate astronomically fast after the video is sped up. That completely destroys the immersion and defies the purpose of the video. It does look interesting though!š¤¦āāļø
Again, this doesnāt affect all addons but absolutely frustrates me about the ones I would love to feature more often on my channel.
So, in short. Iām alive, the channel is alive but for now, other things have top priority.

Hey everyone, I'm sorry for not uploading videos in a while but as you might have read in various articles, I'm working very hard on my scenery project so that it can be released this summer. I'm also moving, that doesn't leave any room for sim video production. That will of course change once my scenery is complete. I hope you understand. Hey everyone, I just finished building my new PC. It's actually the first time I've done this on my own. Specs: i9-9940X, AORUS GeForceĀ® GTX 1080 Ti Xtreme Edition 11G, 32GB DDR4. It runs like a charm so far - fingers crossed. Now I have to install both sims and a ton of addons which will take a few days, so please be patient. In the meantime I might upload a real-world video as I still have some amazing footage, so stay tuned! Have a great weekend :-)

Check out my first quick graphics test of "TomatoShade" which adds PBR-like Materials to P3Dv4...I just discovered this tool and it looks amazing! Hope you're all doing fine. I still have to gather myself after that disasterous soccer match Germany against Mexico...my team absolutely deserved to lose ;-)

Check out my first X-Plane 11 test video on my second channel "Fangzahn Special Cargo"! I'm extremely impressed by the night lighting. My recording method for P3D also seems to work in this simulator. Just to be clear, that doesn't mean that I will leave P3D! X-Plane will just be added to my channel. :-)
