Ha Tran (aka Tran Thu Ha) was born on August 26, 1977 in a tradition family of art and music. Always a trendsetting artist, Ha Tran's unique sound blends Vietnamese music with jazz, opera, pop, rock, electronic, and downtempo elements. She is well known as a singer and music producer, an artist with diverse style, a pioneer in Vietnamese music industry.
Throughout her 30-years of music career, Ha Tran has been marked by dozens of prestigious awards, 16 albums including collaboration with other big names and self-produced albums, including notably Sun Eclipse, the album defined as cultural phenomenon in 2002. Ha Tran is the only artist with 4 time winner in category “album of the year" at the Contribution Music Award. She was honored as one of the four Divas Vietnam, next to Thanh Lam, Hong Nhung & My Linh.
