My name is Adrian and I am a 1st grade teacher at a Title 1 school in Salt Lake City. I am the creator of curriculum materials at First Thinkers. I started First Thinkers wanting to make an impact in primary education by creating lessons that are differentiated. Lesson plans, games, choice boards, word ladders, and activities are some of the resources I have created for teachers. The grade levels I focus on are kindergarten, first and second grade.
A little bit about myself. I received my bachelor’s degree in communication from the University of Utah. When I graduated, I volunteered in a family friend’s 3rd grade classroom and instantly knew what I wanted to do as my career. I have taught fifth and first grades and earned my M.Ed in educational psychology from the University of Utah I have received my ESL and Gifted/Talented education endorsements in the state of Utah. I am currently working on my educational technology endorsement and am going for my reading endorsement after.
