In a recent interview with ESPN's Chris Lowe, inside linebacker Deontae Lawson says that Alabama football coach Kalen DeBoer has made it known in the locker room that you BETTER lock in this season.

Two names out of spring camp that are really turning heads on the offensive side of the ball are receivers Lotzeir Brooks (17) and Isiah Horton (1). Brooks is a true freshmen at out Millville, New Jersey, he owns the touchdown record in the state.
He is very dynamic with the football in his hands, look for him to contribute early from the slot position.
Horton is a transfer from Miami and has a connection with Ty Simpson as they are both from Tennessee. In a recent article with the Crimson Tide Sports Network, Horton explained that Simpson being at Alabama is one of the main reasons he came to Tuscaloosa.
Horton is 6-foot-4 and caught for 616-yards with the Hurricanes last season.
Alabama will hold A-Day on April 12th, the one hour practice will be open to the public, but autographs after the game will be available to only those who are members of Yea Alabama.

Hearing that Ty Simpson had another strong showing at the scrimmage and his chemistry is clear with Isaiah Horton. Ryan Williams missed the scrimmage today and could be out the rest of camp dealing with what Coach DeBoer refers to as (nicks). Lotzeir Brooks had another outstanding showing and is a RISER!
