Hello everyone! 😊
Tomorrow's video is going to be special: My first ever interview in German! I have made English subtitles so you can follow along. I have interviewed a wonderful German author I met through the Gothic Literature Festival. She has a unique writing style and humorous narrative voice. And some gothic vibes will shine through... πŸ¦‡
So, if you ever wondered how I sound talking German, want to learn about her books, practice your listening skills or just see something completely different, stay tuned for tomorrow!

See you then, and have a good weekend!

A quick update on my upload schedule πŸ•Š

Hello everyone,

I wanted to let you know that for now, I’ll be uploading new videos every two weeks instead of weekly. πŸ—“οΈ

This change gives me the space I need to focus more on each video and balance other parts of my life - especially my PhD thesis, which is my biggest project alongside YouTube.πŸ“

I’m still fully committed to this channel and excited about the content coming up, and hope I can continue making interesting videos for you πŸ™ƒ

Thank you for being here, watching, commenting, and engaging. I really appreciate your support, and I’m looking forward to continuing this journey together.

And, to end on a more positive note: You will have more time to read the books I am talking about πŸ˜€

See you next week!

Hello everyone!

This Sunday at 4 PM CET, I’m diving deep into Umberto Eco's Theory of Interpretationβ€”and how it tackles the limits of interpretation and the issue of overinterpretation. πŸ€”

If you’ve ever wondered how far you can push an interpretation of a text without losing its meaning, this video is for you! πŸ“–

We’ll explore Eco's ideas of intentio operis, auctoris, and lectorisβ€”and how they shape the way we approach literary analysis. Whether you’re a fan of Eco or new to his work, get ready for a thought-provoking discussion!

πŸ‘‰ Make sure to tune in this Sunday at 4 PM CET! So looking forward to see you there!

Hello everyone!

πŸ“œ New Video Coming This Sunday! πŸ“œ

This Sunday, we'll continue our journey through medieval fantasy with an exploration of the Edda - the cornerstone of Norse Mythology and one of the most influential works of medieval Europe.

πŸ•“ Premiere: Sunday, 4 PM (CET)

In this video, I’ll give you an overview of the Edda, explain its structure, themes, and clear up some misconceptions around it. We will also see what makes it so enduring and powerful β€” from the poetic language to the literary legacy.

Whether you're new to the Edda or want a quick reminder of the most important facts & stories, this one's for you! 😊

πŸ‘‰ Don’t miss it β€” set your reminders and join the discussion in the comments!
