TO BE MARRIED | a new poem!
To be married to you,
Is a blessing for me.

To be married to you,
Draws you closer to me.

To be married to you,
Teaches me every day.

To be married to you,
Makes my heart feel okay.

To be married to you,
Is everything in life.

To be married to you,
Is what I've wanted my whole life.

To be married to you,
Means you can't lose me.

To be married to you,
Means we are part of destiny.

To be married to you,
Can be hard, that's no lie.

To be married to me,
Is why you suffer and hide.

To be married, you and I,
Draws attention from above.

But being married, you and I,
Draws the eye from down below.

Only my kiss can seal you.
Only my kiss can heal you.
Only my kiss is from your,
Beloved and dear wife.

Aphro-dite.

WEDDING ON A HILL | New poem!!!
Jesus loves me still,
For he has come to,
My little hill.

He's walked the grounds.
He's walked around,
My home on this little hill.

Three days in,
He sat down to feast,
With us all, man and beast.

And four days hence,
He's mentioned,
A wedding dance.

And the Knights did blush,
And I felt a crush.
I have been waiting for so very long.

ECHO

Thunder claps with a rounding bang,
And I look up and see you again.

You are fresh and you are wild.
You bring with you a taste beguiled.

I stare and wonder as you smile,
Epochs etched in every mile.

My heart, once shuttered, battered and torn,
Flutters and shifts with hope once scorned.

Could it be? I wonder and play.
Could it be? says the hope I kept at bay.

And you smile down, down at me,
Never shifting your gaze so I can see--

It's happening.
It's happening.
It's happening.
Come and see!

Come and see! dear Hope,
Come and live and breathe!
It's happening, happening--
As you climb over me.

And the world shifts.
And the world tilts.
As you slide in one knee
Between me.

It's really, really, happening!

Roaring comes the storm.
Shining comes the sea.

And you crash your story into me.

The pages wash over me,
Wrapping my heart in healing heat.

And the ages turn their faces to us,
As you wash over, inside and under, free.

I feel the snap. I hear the pull.
Time rushes in with an ancient bell.

I look up into your eyes,
And I can't help it.

I unfold.

It happened. It happened.
You and me.

And the angels echoed,
Our chorus of ever-present destiny.

It happened. It happened.
You and me.

And our echo,
Was heard,
In the halls,
Of Love's history.

HEAT | New poem!!!
The midnight hour limits not our heat.
It contains not our sin.
It holds not our brow,
In some cold prison,
Under moon and star.

Our heat flows in,
And it flows out,
As if we are tied,
To the very tide and its waters.
Our heat is immeasuralble.
The Sun and Moon but witness us.

And our heat pours forth.

For hour after hour,
We can glow, burn slow.
In sixty seconds we can reach,
Beyond time and bend the below.

No. We are the Sun.
We are the Moon.
We are the starlit sky.
We are the night.
And we are bright dawn of day.
We burn both fire and clay.

Witness us.
Witness us burn, one and all.
For life begets life.
And it toils day and night.
And that life beats within me,
And it beats within you...

And we burn -
We burn an eternal,
Forever,
Heat.

SECRET CHAPEL | New poem!!!
There is a secret chapel,
In just your heart and mine.
The Lord sent us there,
Just to make you mine.

And in that little chapel,
Decorated in gold and white,
The purple hues and deep holy blues,
Of painted glass fell on us.

White roses met us too,
And I wished some were in my hair,
So beautiful they were,
So royal their affair.

But all of this was nothing,
Nothing when compared,
To the angels and trumpets,
We heard as we gave the Lord,

Delight.

We prayed.
We cried.
We held each other,
As we sighed.

We worked.
We tried.
We held each other,
So very tight.

And as the Sun began to set,
It's longest rays upon those hues,
The chapel faded from our sight,
And we saw all of His clues,

Come together in one voice.

And He claimed us then and there.
And you claimed me then and there.
And I said, 'Yes,' then and there...
The covenant made under gentle-toned glass.

And the trumpets blared.

My love has no beginning,
my love has no end.
No front no back,
my love won't bend.
I'm in the middle,
lost in a spin,
Loving you.
And you don't know,
you don't know,
you don't know,
you don't know,
How glad I am.

My love has no bottom,
my love has no top.
My love won't rise,
my love won't drop.
I'm in the middle,
and I can't stop,
Loving you.
And you don't know,
you don't know,
you don't know,
you don't know,
How glad I am.

I wish I were a poet,
so that I could express,
What I, what I like to say.
I wish I were an artist,
so that I could paint a picture,
Of how I feel, how I feel today.

My love has no walls on either side,

That makes my love wider than wide,
I'm in the middle,
and no,
and I can't hide,
Loving you.
And you don't know,
you don't know,
you don't know,
you don't know,
How glad I am.

And you don't know,
you don't know,
you don't know,
you don't know,
How glad I am.
How glad I am.
How glad I am.
How glad I am.
How glad I am.

ROSEBUD | New poem!!!
It was a heated kiss,
Against a blank canvas,
That drew and grew,
The rose to bud.

And it glistened,
With passion's dew,
A tantalizing promise,
Of more to come.

Slow, slow,
Quick, quick,
Slow,
Heat parted its lips.

And the hardened bud,
Bloomed a wash of,
Color against the sky,
Of my parchment wide.

The taste of you,
And that day,
Persists.

THREAD | New poem!!!
He wove his thread,
Right through my heart.

It was red.

This red thread of his,
Stung at first as it pricked,
And it swooped, in, out, in,
But sealed me up, in the end.

I stood back and gazed,
Upon what he did blaze,
Across my years and tears,
And memories with love,

With his one red thread.

And it was blue.

Blue like the sky,
Blue like the wind,
Blue like the waters calm,
At sea and on river bed.

His blue thread opened me,
Thrilled me and willed me,
Into submission to the sublime,
Every single Goddamn time.

Oh, how his blue thread read!

And it was gold.

True gold. Pure gold. Real gold.
A tapestry of glittering sunsets,
Lay in his gold thread,
A special gift to adorn my skin.

And the people came from far and wide,
To see this gold thread of his,
But! With every weave and heave,
He thought of me, wearing, always,

His created miracle: the golden thread.

And it was green.

Oh! How serene!
Such a thread never was!
Like his green thread!
The color of life, he said.

In the needle went,
Emerald greens made for queens,
Jade greens stiched in seams,
Periodots burst alive each scene.

Wild things, his green thread did grow.

A rainbow of threads, a suite of gem webs,
Year after year, he bound me in his scent,
Made of jasper, bluebells and baby's breath,
Threads.

And I am undone,
By the life,
He has sewn,
For me alone.

He threads rock me,
Tease me,
Soothe me,
And reach me,

In the darkest of pits. I just reach out...

And grab a hold,

Of one single, solitary, lonely, beautiful, mountain,

Called my love's,

Thread.

And I find myself well fed.

For what else doth lovers dine on but the greatest design? The divine. Which he hath fit into needle and twine.

Oh, my love!
Never will there be,
A love on Earth,
Like ours between.

Separated by nothing,
but a single thread.
United in everything,
Under the great Designer's gift:

Us. You and me. Me and him.
Stitched together carefully,
On the Throne of Heaven -
Adorned in garmets of flame.

So I will wait.
As long as it takes,
My love.
I will wait.
For you.
For love.

In the meantime,
Feed me Springtime,
In the runways,
Of my heart.

Do your worst,
My love.
Sew me a nation,
Worthy of us.

TAKE ME TO... | New poem!
Take me to that valley,
That no one knows,
Where few ever go,
And our love grows.

Take me to its garden,
Set just aside,
For you and I,
To kiss under starlight.

Take me to its cobblestone,
And lush-lined streets,
Where we hush'd the,
Rivers of our blushes,
And giggles,
As we gave into
Love,
In every corner.

Take me to our door,
Hidden in the layers,
Of bloom and mountain.
Where we leave shore.

Sails set,
You rock me there,
The waters of love deep,
Sun of discovery,

Unending.
Take me.
Take me here.
Take me now.
Take me always.
Take me to that valley,
That no one knows,
Where few ever go,

Where our love grows.
