We will not have class today (Erev Simchat Torah in diaspora - THursday, October 24, 2024). Our beloved cat Garfield suddenly and unexpectadly just passed away and I'm sorry I will not be able to teach with the joy the Hebrew bible deserves.

Dear Students, I just recorded 2 quite long teachings. I did the entire Torah reading for today for Rosh Hashannah II hebrew canting and translating in English for you. I thought i had some good teachings in there and my goofy free recording software somehow did not record audio. Nothing was muted it just "forgot" which microphone to use. I'm so sorry, it is now 4PM and shabbat is approaching and I do not think I can put in another hour and a half to rerecord this. I'm very disappointed in myself for not double checking that the microphone was bouncing. -Sigh. Shabbat shalom
