LET'S TALK 2025
Thank you all for an amazing 2024, it was personal STRETCH GOAL to reach 100k subs by the END OF THE YEAR and we managed to reach it in September which melted my brain. Thank you so much for checking out all the shorts and videos and thank you @ockedits for being an amazing editor and making the shorts BANGIN.
WHERE IS THE VIDEO SHINDIGS
I'm noticing more comments asking where the long form videos are for the Shorts, which is encouraging that people want to see more of the stream. I'll experiment with some more formats to see if we can get more videos out!
I picked up video editing long form last year and edited nearly all the long form videos (except the Halo one from Shadelock), and learned a lot about editing in the process. Behind the scenes, it takes a few days to cut down a 4-6 hour stream vods, find the good parts to compile the story, and add the music/sfx and watch/rewatch the final edit. It's really fulfilling and fun to do a "full production", and there's also room for more experimental videos with quicker turnaround. Excited to try more stuff out in 2025.
It just dawned on me that some video about "behind the scenes" might make a good video in itself...
There are also great community editors like @le who do a great job of doing frequent uploads and highlights of the stream and friend's streams. youtube.com/@Orchible

I'll be on a stream break from 1/4 to 1/16-ish while travelling! So we may have to wait a little bit longer for videos. Excited to return and lock in for more videos and chat interaction in 2025.

Thanks for an amazing year and Twitch and YouTube! Been great to see all the new faces in chat and participating in the crazy interactive overlays. I've casually streamed on and off for a few years, but the combination of vtubing and tools to make stream programming easier, it's really helped me put together the exact vision I've wanted to see in streaming. More importantly, I appreciate everyone here sharing the same enthusiasm for interactive streams.
