Easy & perfect Aloo Paratha Recipe

Ingredients:

For kneading dough:
Wheat flour 2 cup
Salt ½ tsp
Oil 1 tsp

For Stuffing:
Boiled potato -5
Chopped green chilli - 2
Crushed garlic - 7-8
Grated ginger - ½ insh
Green Corinader - handful
Red chilli powder - 1 tsp
Turmeric powder - ¼ tsp
Salt - to taste
Cumin seeds - ½ tsp
Fennel seeds(saunf) - 1 tsp
Heeng - ¼ tsp
Amchoor powder - 1 tsp

Instructions:

1. In a mixing bowl, combine the whole wheat flour with salt, oil and add water gradually to make a smooth dough. Knead the dough well and let it rest for about 15-20 minutes, covered with a damp cloth.

2. In another bowl, mix the mashed potatoes withgreen chilies, cumin seeds, red chili powder , turmeric powder, chopped coriander leaves, heeng, grated ginger, crushed garlic, amchoor powder, saunf and salt. Mix well to form the filling.

3. Divide the dough into equal-sized balls and roll each ball into a small circle using a rolling pin.

4. Place a portion of the potato filling in the center of the rolled dough circle.

5. Bring the edges of the dough together to seal the filling and then flatten the stuffed ball gently.

6. Roll out the stuffed ball again into a larger circle.

7. Heat a tawa or griddle over medium heat. Place the rolled paratha on the hot tawa and cook for a minute or so on one side until you see bubbles forming.

8. Flip the paratha and apply ghee or oil on the cooked side.

9. Cook the other side until brown spots appear, then flip again and apply ghee or oil on this side as well.

10. Press down the paratha with a spatula to cook evenly. Cook until both sides are nicely golden and crispy.

11. Repeat the process for the remaining dough and filling to make more parathas.

Serve hot with yogurt, pickle, or any chutney of your choice. Enjoy your delicious Aloo Parathas!
