‪@SaintEtienneOfficial‬ return with ‘Take Me To The Pilot’ – the second single from their thirteenth and final studio album ‘International.’

Co-written and produced with Paul Hartnoll of Orbital, the track is a dark, propulsive escape fantasy.

The track is accompanied by a new video by long-time collaborator and acclaimed fashion photographer Alasdair McLellan, and was filmed in Doncaster and the streets of Rome. Starring dancer Jet – first photographed by McLellan for Arena Homme+, the film weaves together suburban stillness and Roman grandeur.

Baxter Dury is pleased to announce the third track 'Schadenfreude' from the up and coming Paul Epworth produced studio album 'Allbarone.

Over the top of a towering European rhythm track that pulses as it keeps rising to ecstatic heights, Baxter Dury brilliantly recalls finding a streak of bitter humour in the misfortune of others. A brilliant and uplifting celebration of someone else's failures.

"I loved making Schadenfreude at Paul Epworth's palatial studio. As soon as we had the backing track, it remained on loop played through these giant bespoke speakers that looked like Cocaine Daleks. It has this optimistic pulsating French dance feel compromised by this slightly over honest fragile man lyric. Schadenfreude."

The track is accompanied by a captivating music video directed by Gareth Bowen and produced by London-based studio Blinkink.

Director Gareth Bowen adds:

“I loved the tune. It instantly felt really cinematic - like something straight out of a pulp ‘80s or ‘90s movie the first time I heard it. I did have to Google what schadenfreude meant, but the meaning - people being weirdly thrilled when things go wrong for someone else - spoke to me. It also felt perfect for building a twisted little narrative that’s atmospheric, joyful, comedic and spooky too.”

This Friday, 11th July, Gwenno releases her hugely anticipated and already highly acclaimed new album Utopia via Heavenly Recordings. Following the singles ‘Dancing On Volcanoes, ‘War’ and ‘Y Gath’, today Gwenno shares a ravishing video for the album’s gorgeous and dreamlike title track.

‘Utopia’ paints a picture of someone living their life against the rapidly fading colours of Las Vegas. That story is sung over an ever-evolving groove that sounds like a Philly Soul band taking Moon Safari on an exciting new journey into the cosmos.

The accompanying video, shot “Casino”-style on location in Las Vegas by Claire Marie Bailey.

Irish rap trio ‪@KNEECAP32‬ today share their new single ‘Fine Art.’ The title track of their debut album produced by ‪@ToddlaT‬.

‘Fine Art’ is a frenetic, rapid-fire, hand in the air hip-hop blast, with the band sharing that it was inspired by “the mental reaction of the media to our mural unveiling of a police jeep on fire.”

Mo Chara said:

“The mural ended up on the BBC with Steven Nolan who’s like the Piers Morgan of the North of Ireland. They had a massive debate about the painting, and he says, ‘The band Kneecap claim the mural is just a piece of fine art’. So we sampled it into a dance tune and dropped it in where it kicks. That’s where the title comes from – when we were getting stick about the mural that’s the term we used. Because that’s the best description isn’t it? If you don’t get it, you don’t get it. It’s still fine art.”

💐 Here comes something. What’s that sound? It’s a new record by ‪@HaloMaud‬. Titled ‘Celebrate’, it more than lives up to its name. 💐

“This is the kind of fun album one covertly wishes Bjork still made... It romps through wide-eyed dream pop, lo-fi and trippy sci-fi, tossing in maverick Ye-Ye mannerisms to make sure you’re kept off balance. Halo Maud will be known to Chemical Brothers fans for her vocals on their last album, but this reveals that her own vision rocks across more than a few blocks.”
- Record Collector Magazine ★★★★ -

“French psych-pop voyager’s dazzling second album... With her skill set and penchant for technicolour pop, Maud has something of Tame Impala’s Kevin Parker about her, but Celebrate transports us to other realms besides... ‘My Desire Is Pure’ has elements of Bjork’s mid-90s bedazzle and ‘Last Day Song’ has Chemical Brothers chemistry.”
- MOJO ★★★★ -

“Dazzling... a shimmering and wildly eclectic album... A heady, swirling collage of gossamer melodies, reverb-heavy guitars, iridescent 60s psyche, motorik strafing, languid off-kilter chanson and ecstatic analogue synths.”
- Uncut Magazine -

“Her voice takes on shimmering, almost mystical, Bjork-like qualities – there’s an effortless intensity that captivates and enthralls... The production is garnished with delightful analogue electronics creating a psychedelic tapestry with a nostalgic sci-fi feel... It all feels very much like a party that you never want to end.”
- Electronic Sound Magazine -

“A thoroughly charming spin through ecstatic dream-pop, subverted Ye-Ye tropes, pensiveness and partying.”
- Prog -
