Breaking News - Disneyland will not be reopening on July 17th 2020. Disney has just announced that: "The State of California has now indicated that it will not issue theme park reopening guidelines until sometime after July 4. Given the time required for us to bring thousands of cast members back to work and restart our business, we have no choice but to delay the reopening of our theme parks and hotels until we receive approval from government officials. Once we have a clearer understanding of when guidelines will be released, we expect to be able to communicate a reopening date."
What are your thoughts on this update? I'm sad Disneyland won't be open for it's birthday but with how crazy this situation is I totally understand the decision.

Today Disneyland was officially closed and on Monday the parks of Walt Disney World will be closed. Still crazy to think about, but it's great Disney is helping to reduce the chances of spreading COVID-19. I just posted a new video sharing Disney's current closure timeline, and I share some of my thoughts on how we each play a role in "flattening the curve". One more thought... while the parks are closed and we are all going through this unique time, look for opportunities to share a little of your own magic with those who may be feeling lonely, anxious, or worried... It can be as simple as a phone call, a text message, or an offer to pick-up something at the store. - Eric D.
