Big Deeez turned 11 this week! (70ish in dog years).. This dude has been a blessing to my life and I’m thankful he has made it this far. He got diagnosed with degenerative myelopathy a few years back (similar to ALS in humans) and has been slowing down but still chugging along through this adventurous life. I’ve really been cherishing these final years and trying to take in every moment, dogs are amazing.

I am riding in the first ever #HondaTrueAdventureTour 💥
Started out on the 2024 @hondamotorcycles Africa Twin, day 1 we rode a stint of highway first thing which was nice and relaxing having cruise control, shortly after we found ourselves deep into the Redwoods marveling at the lush forest that surrounded us.
This bike and I meshed right away, I’ve always wanted to try an AT and I can say I am very happy with how it performed today. Almost 200 miles in so far and plenty of content to come from our journey.

The road test; with only 149cc’s of air cooled combustion, nodding off on your morning commute might sound inevitable. Wrong, the XR150L was an absolute blast to rip through the grape covered hills and you are forced to use every last rpm in each gear fully engaging you into the moment.
Paired with the comfortable ergonomics that come with a dual sport by nature, I could have spent hours riding at this pace with little fatigue. It’s not a Goldwing by any means, but with an MSRP of $2,971 you will be pressed to find a more versatile machine.
