Dear friends and followers.
I am terrible at these formal statements, but I thought I would just come out and say the situation with my channel at the moment.

Of course, I have been terrible at pushing content out recently. It seems that my views decline dramatically when I release anything other than a flight review. I know that these numbers should not be my focus, I have a fantastic audience that has grown over the years that I have ran my channel.

When I release planespotting videos or videos where I just talk to the cameras, the views, likes, and comments are much lower. I still go plane spotting as a hobby, but it seems the interest in those types of my videos has decreased over the years.

When I started this channel in 2019, It was intended to be a channel about travelling. Hence the name, Travelino. But after doing the channel for about a year, I decided to focus on the aviation content.


During lockdown and the year of 2020, my aviation interested peaked and that is what established my channel and the wonderful community that surrounds it.

However, in 2023 flying is much more expensive than it was a few years ago, at least here in the UK. I would love to get some trip reports/flight reviews out for you, but I cant spend loads of money on the flights that I would like too.


I know this isn’t making much sense, like I said I am bad at this. But bottom line is I am going to be uploading some different videos.

I removed the – Aviation bit from my YouTube channel name, as I am going to be uploading travel content like I used to as well. Maybe some footage from trips I do, even those that do not involve aircraft. Maybe a journey up north on a train, or a trip to a football stadium.

I might also upload some aviation news/information videos!

I will upload trip reports when I can, and I might even get a trip booked this year, maybe this summer if I can find something affordable. But rather than making you all wait months for an upload, I am going to be looking at more content to fill the gaps!

Any suggestions are welcome!

MSFS2020 has progressed so much since its release, especially in the last year. It is genuinely amazing, the future we had all been dreaming of is on its way.
