Truly a full circle moment for me.
I grew up as a kid obsessed with the markets, checking the stock quotes on the back of my dad's Wall Street Journal paper every day before school.
I went on to major in Finance. Upon graduation I got a job as a low level analyst. All my friends who majored in software engineering were making 5 times what I was making.
I was blinded by the money and eventually followed down that path too, leaving the world of professional finance behind in favor of the Silicon Valley money pit. I continued to trade on the side as a personal pursuit.
After 15 years in Silicon Valley, I eventually got tired of the rat race and broke the golden handcuffs, quitting to become a full time trader & entrepreneur.
And now I'm back at the NYSE, but this time on my own terms.
Life is funny like that.

If you're the type that wants to invest but is ALWAYS scared to 😱, read this TODAY and fix your problem forever.
Staying in CASH is the dumbest thing you can do in the long term. The system has been BACKWARDS for 100 years and none of this is taught in school (probably on purpose).
- You're terrified of investing because you're afraid of "losing" cash.
- You keep your money in the bank instead, while banks make a killing on your deposit.
- You'll mindlessly pay rent forever, subsidizing your landlord's mortgage.
- You'll happily go out and spend $20 on a drink that truly costs 10 times less.
Meanwhile, in the last 4 years alone, the value of cash has dropped by 21%.
In the last 90 years, cash has lost 96% of its value.
Invest your f*cking money. $1 from 1933 is worth $0.04 cents now. $1 invested in the S&P 500 in 1933 is worth $19,053.
For the scared types, the best way to do this is mindlessly. If your job has automatic deductions to an IRA or a 401K, set it on autopilot. No need to get cute with stock picking. The S&P 500, Nasdaq, and Dow are all you need.

Imagine working all week at your job and not getting PAID. Are you sure you 'bout that life?
I FINALLY broke even this week trading (not my investing account).
Crucial Lessons to take from this:
1) A highly rewarding life isn't always immediately rewarding. Most people wouldn't want to work all week without pay. A good trader expects a certain level of variance.
2) As a trader you have to continuously monitor your entire performance. One day, one trade, one week, means little if you're doing the right thing every day.
3) If I tilted on Tuesday and took stupid trades I could've wiped my my entire month's worth of progress.
4) What you see online from traders is mostly bullshit. Very few traders would tell you they had a break even week, let a lone a losing one.
Keep your heads up champs. This life is hard but it's worth it.

You don't have to be a perfect trader at ALL!
Just don't get rattled on your off days and don't do stupid sh*t because of it. An off day is EXACTLY that - 1 off day. Let it live in isolation.
Game plan is the same every day.
Compounding is your best friend.
