This is not at all the update I wanted to make, and I am so incredibly sorry for all of the people I have let down.
I have decided to discontinue Doubleglare’s story as a whole.
I feel so incredibly guilty that I am not taking it and making it something new and less problematic, but the whole situation has also been very mentally stressful for me and I think its for the interest of everyone that I drop the story entirely. This is in no way an attempt at avoiding the issue, and i intend to address it in this post.
Firstly, I would like to apologize for my disappointing handling of this situation. Not that this is an excuse, but the sudden attention and hundreds of mixed comments was very overwhelming and I went into a very bad mental health spiral. Instead of facing the issue and taking accountability, I hid off of the internet for a while. I am so sorry, this was a very foolish way to face this serious situation.
Secondly, and most importantly, I apologize for my ableist behavior. My Oc, Doubleglare, is an inherently ableist character based around negative stereotypes that I was uneducated on when I created him. The issue stems from the fact that he is villainized because he fought back against his oppressors. This isn’t to justify his actions; and disabled characters can be villains. However, I had written him to be seen as bad because of his disability and I am so sorry for that stupid, uneducated decision. I take full accountability for my actions.
I have always tried to be inclusive and learn from other groups of people, and while I am incredibly apologetic for my actions, I am also grateful to be able to learn from this experience and grow as a person.
As a final point, this post is not a reach for forgiveness or sympathy. I just wanted to finally clear the air a bit and accept my accountability and consequences where they are due. I hope I can continue to create content, but I also understand if the people I have hurt decide it would be better for me to stay offline for some time.
I will be unlisting Sleepwalk, you will be able to find it in my playlists just so you can understand what this post is talking about. I will also try to answer any questions in the comments on this post.

teeny update…im still super busy. school is almost out for summer but that means ✨exams✨i swear im going to handle the dg situation…eventually. i truly want to manage it well which is why i have been waiting until im less busy.

hey guys! just a little update-
ive been super busy with school (finals 😩😭) and i have had 0 time to workshop DG’s story. but i want you guys to know that fixing my mistakes and learning from it is still incredibly important to me! im sorry for my lack of posting and responding, im going to start my research as soon as my schedule loosens up.
